Three aces across two maps, from a player competing internationally for the first time. It reads like a rare explosion, and it is rare — but rarity does not automatically translate into durability.

Champions Shanghai is the final stop of the VCT circuit operated by Riot Games. This stage runs an upper and lower bracket. LOUD won, held its upper-bracket slot and gained an advantage in the number of elimination matches it must play. EDward Gaming — China's representative, competing on home soil in Shanghai — dropped to the lower bracket, where every loss ends the run.
