Fenerbahce announced they will present necessary defenses before UEFA bodies to protect the rights and interests of the players and the club. The incident occurred right after Fenerbahce won 2-1 at Olympique Lyonnais, advancing 3-2 on aggregate to qualify for the Champions League league phase.
